Mack has been participating in KC Zine Con since 2018. Last year she had a booth of her own and was featured in the Youth Workshop that was held! This year, Mack is ready to participate virtually as the event continues, despite the pandemic.
Here’s a zine that Mack has done recently after becoming involved in the Black Lives Matter movement.
Mack says, “I think it’s important to say ‘Black Lives Matter’ as a white person, because I’m using my privilege to help their movement for their lives.”
Mack has spent a lot of time researching the civil rights movement and has been inspired by their words.
